Margaret Byrnes joined The Tennyson Law Firm in 2012. After graduating from Smith College in 2008 with a degree in English Language and Literature, she earned her J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2011, summa cum laude. During her law school career, she competed in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Student Trial Competition. Her team won the Northeast Regional Championship in 2010, going on to compete in the National Competition in New Orleans. She also interned at the Massachusetts Appeals Court for Justice Joseph A. Trainor in her third year of law school.

Attorney Byrnes is admitted to practice in the Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine state courts, as well as the United States District Court in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers (MATA). She is also an adjunct faculty member at the Massachusetts School of Law, where she teaches the first year course Writing and Legal Reasoning.
